MORE teaches at CAA Hangzhou — Close
Lead by Pieter Bannenberg / NL Architects, and collaborating with Su Yimin/SUn, Daan Roggeveen has been teaching a course in mass housing at China Academy of Art, Hangzhou during the fall of 2014. The course, with 15 architecture students and 15 interior design students, focussed on the redevelopment of a former silk factory in Hangzhou. The commission for the interior students focussed on an intervention within the existing factory. The architecture students were asked to develop a new type of mass housing in or on top of the existing factory. The results of the course were shown in a small exhibition in which each group of students showed five postcards of their work.
